eBooks have at last come of age and although you have been able to see if an eBook is available on a title by title basis on Lovereading4kids for a while now, we also wanted to create a special section which features all of our eBook recommended reads.
To find out what e-formats we have available and the prices etc just click on a book cover. This will take you to the book page, which will show you ALL the formats we have available for that title including the three most popular formats, ePub, Kindle and iBooks - we don't think you'll find this service anywhere else in the world at the moment! (May 2011).
The most common 'e' formats are ePub, Amazon Kindle and Apple iBook and exclusively we feature them ALL on Lovereading.co.uk.
Each format can only be read on specific reading devices.
The ePub format can be read on a lot of ereaders including models made by Sony. (Please note you may have to download additional software / apps to read ePubs on your mobile device).
To read Kindle format books you will either need to purchase a Kindle device or you can download the free Kindle App for your device.
To read iBook format titles you will need to view the web page of the book you want as an iBook on a iPad, iPhone or iPod touch that has the iBook app loaded. The book will then be added automatically to your library.
At present the e-pub downloads offered on Lovereading cannot be read on an iPad / iPhone via the iBooks application, however Kindle formats can be read on iPad / iPhone by using the free Kindle App.
