Until now, possibly best known in the UK for her Inkheart series, Cornelia Funke is a powerfully magical, award winning storyteller who has many books all brimming with rich fantasy and adventure and perfect for readers 8 and older.
Her latest book, due to be published globally on 15 September, is an extraordinary fantasy thriller, set between two worlds linked by a mirror, called Reckless.
In it our world and a dark fairytale place, where modern technology has disastrously mixed with magic, resulting in war and corruption become entangled and both are put at risk.
