Julia Eccleshare's comment:

This is an epic children’s story, told with great humour, optimism and warmth.  It will grip the reader not just because of the loveable fishy characters and exciting adventures but almost more so because it subtly shows us the impact human beings are having on our environment. So join two young salmon, Salto and Una as the Power of the Deep calls them back to their home pool and they embark upon a Great Journey, that of all the fish and mammals in the sea, only the salmon undertake.

Synopsis

Storlax: The Power of the Deep by Robert Jackson, Bubbi Morthens

Close your eyes and think of the whitest white there ever was. And try, if you dare to think of a cold so cold, that it was colder than the wintriest of winters.  Now think of the darkest dark and the blackest black.  This is where our story begins.
