Julia Eccleshare's comment:
Three funny and fanciful stories about animals who have got just a little bit mixed-up. There’s Dogbird, a budgie who Woofs loud and long until he drives everyone round the bend. Dad says he must go but who would want a bird that sounds like a dog? Then there’s The Were-Pig. Will Albert really become a were-pig because he stole a Mars bar and ate it all up in one greedy moment? If he’s Granny is right, he may well start growing a curly tail when the sun comes out. And finally, there’s the Watch-Frog who maybe an enchanted prince. Should Looby kiss him in the hope that it will stop from croaking ‘ribbit, rabbit’ all day long? Heavily illustrated by Tony Ross these are perfect for those beginning to read.
